eCommera recognised as one of Britain’s fastest-growing technology firms

October 3rd, 2011: eCommera, the pioneering provider of eCommerce trading solutions, has been named as one of the fastest-growing technology companies in the 11th annual Sunday Times Microsoft Tech Track 100 league table. Positioned at number 39, eCommera is recognised for its 70% annual sales growth during the last three years, and joins an impressive array of other privately-owned technology, media and telecoms (TMT) companies based in Britain.

Making its first appearance on the distinguished list, the inclusion reflects eCommera’s tremendous growth which has resulted in an annualised turnover increase from £2.4m in 2008, to £12m in 2011. eCommera’s eCommerce solutions enable brand owners and retailers to sell efficiently and intelligently across multiple channels, and are backed up by unique data insight and decision support tools that are all part of the service.

eCommera boasts a high-calibre portfolio of some of the world’s leading brands, responsible for operating online stores for Asda Direct, House of Fraser, Hamleys, and many other leading brands. It is also proud to be operating the official online shop for the London 2012 Olympics, which offers gifts, souvenirs, clothing, toys, and a whole host of merchandise, ahead of the event which begins next July.

Andrew McGregor, CEO and co-founder of eCommera, comments: “eCommera has grown tremendously over the past three years, and we are delighted that this accomplishment been formally recognised. Being positioned alongside some of the nation’s biggest and most-loved companies highlights just how far we have come in a short space of time, but we’re by no means resting on our laurels. We’ve recently launched a new  online decision making tool called Intelligent Trader to help retailers drive profit, and are now offering our services and expertise in Europe to ensure that eCommera continues to grow in the years ahead”.
