Purpose of the Job

We are growing rapidly and are looking for a talented Project Manager. The Project Manager is responsible for planning, communication and execution of the project in accordance with agreed budgets, timescales, methodology and quality targets.

Principal Responsibilities

Working alongside the Business Analyst and Solutions Architect, the Project Manager is responsible for planning, communication and efficient execution of the project in accordance with agreed budgets, timescales, methodology / process and quality targets.

  • Create and maintain the following:
    • Project Plan
    • Change Request Register
    • Budget
    • Risk Register
    • Team Structure
    • Contact List
    • Status Reports
    • Manage project members
    • Adhere to process / methodology
  • Implement best practices wherever possible
  • Minimise solution complexity
  • Identify and resolve issues / risks
  • Liaise with Retailers and manage expectations
  • Liaise with other project areas to coordinate interdependencies and resolve issues
  • Liaise with various business units and/or partners
  • Ensure high quality documentation
  • Report status and issues to the Programme Manager

Personal Specification

Experience

The ideal candidate will have experience in the following:

  • eCommerce experience within Retail
  • Client interaction and presentation skills
  • Demandware
  • Sterling Commerce

Whilst not essential knowledge of the following would be beneficial

  • Mercatus
  • Solus
  • Island Pacific (IPMS or Synaro)
  • Retail J
  • Coremetrics

Other

  • Highly intelligent - Degree (2:2 or higher)
  • Confident and proactive
  • Must be self-motivated and disciplined and able to work on own initiative
  • Will be committed to the achievement of excellence
